Web Design & Development

Church Website Design a Volunteer Can Run.

A family is deciding on Saturday night whether to visit tomorrow. They scroll past a slideshow to an events calendar from last spring, but no service time. They assume the church is out of date too. We build church sites with times and directions up front, easy for a volunteer to keep current.

  • First-time visitors decide from a phone on Saturday night. Service times, address, and “what to expect” belong on the first screen.
  • If updating the site takes a developer, it will be out of date in a month. Ours is built for the volunteer who runs it.
  • Online giving has to work in two taps on a phone or it will not be used.

What keeps the phone quiet

Why most church websites stop working.

Out of date by Easter

The site launched with a calendar and a sermon page, and nobody could figure out how to update them. A year later the events are from last spring. Visitors assume the church is too.

The visitor cannot find Sunday

Service times are on page three behind a photo slideshow. The person deciding whether to come this Sunday is on a phone and gives up before they find the address.

Giving that takes six steps

A giving page that opens a third-party portal, asks for an account, and fails on mobile. People who wanted to give did not.

What you get

Built to book the job.

Service times, directions, and what to expect, first

The three things a visitor needs, on the first screen, with a one-tap map and a plan-your-visit form.

Events and sermons that post themselves

A calendar and sermon library that pull from what you already use, so a volunteer adds one event and it appears everywhere.

Online giving that works on a phone

Connected to the giving platform you already have, two taps, no account required.

Built for volunteers

Editing without touching code, with training and a written guide. If the person who runs it changes, the next one can pick it up.

Ministries, staff, and groups

Pages for the ministries that need them, with contacts and sign-ups, kept simple enough to stay current.

No build fee on a monthly plan

Grow waives the build fee and includes hosting, security, updates, and the follow-up tools, so the church pays a monthly amount instead of a project cost. Part of Grow

How it works

Fixed quote. Fixed timeline. Yours when it’s done.

  1. 01

    15-minute call

Who runs the site, what a visitor needs to know, and what you already use for giving and events.

  2. 02

    Price in writing

A fixed quote per project, or Grow with the build fee waived. Good for 30 days.

  3. 03

    Build

Structure and the visitor path first, then the tools your volunteers will use. You review on a live link.

  4. 04

    Train and launch

Training for whoever runs it, a written guide, DNS cut, and Google Business Profile matched so the church shows on the map.

  • “Clint took my company's project much further than I ever expected. His tech experience was fantastic, but even more than that, he guided me in directions I hadn't anticipated. We hadn't planned on some of the changes he suggested, but he made it all bigger, better and bolder.”

  • “Clint and the team at Blaksheep have truly exceeded our expectations. From day one, the communication was clear, prompt, and professional. We were never left guessing where things stood. The work they've done on our website and social media presence has been outstanding.it looks great, functions seamlessly, and really captures the essence of our brand. We're so grateful to have found a team that combines creative talent with such reliability and responsiveness. We're genuinely excited to continue growing with Blaksheep and can't recommend them highly enough!"”

  • “Shoutout to our IT wizard for fixing our work email and saving us all from a slow descent into chaos, carrier pigeons, and “did you get my message?” debates. He calmly swooped in, pushed some mysterious buttons only he understands, and—like magic—emails started working again. No dramatic sighs. No eye-rolling (at least not where we could see it). Just quiet competence and the subtle confidence of someone who knows we would’ve absolutely made it worse if we tried ourselves. Emails are flowing. Productivity is restored. Sanity levels have stabilized.”

  • “I cannot RAVE and PRAISE enough about who Clint is as a person AND the amount of talent he holds. Genuine, funny, relaxed, and could not have asked for a better graphic designer to work with. When everyone else didn’t meet the expectations I needed for a really personal project, Clint exceeded above and beyond. THANK YOU to this man and the quality work he resulted me with. I will FOREVER use him in any and all design projects going forward!!!”

  • ““BlakSheep Creative has completely changed how customers find my business.” Before working with Clint and the team, we were basically invisible online. Now we rank at the top of Google for all our core services — brush clearing, forestry mulching, land development — you name it. The leads we get are not just more frequent, they’re better quality. They took the time to understand our business, explained what they were doing in plain English, and followed through with results that speak for themselves. Couldn’t be happier with the service and support. If you own a service business in Livingston Parish and want to grow, this is the crew to call. – Adam Hodges Owner, Hodges Land Management Livingston, Louisiana”

The short answer

A church website has three jobs for a first-time visitor: when is the service, where is the building, and what should I expect. We build church websites that answer those in the first screen, then make the rest easy for a volunteer to keep current: events, sermons, online giving, and a way to plan a visit. Fixed quote before we start, or no build fee at all on a monthly plan.

Common questions about web design & development for churches

How much does a church website cost?
Priced per project, with a fixed quote in writing after a 15-minute call. If the church would rather not pay a build cost, Grow waives it and includes the site, hosting, security, and updates for a monthly amount. Either way there are no surprise invoices.
Can a volunteer update the site?
Yes. That is the design goal. Events, sermons, staff, and pages are edited without touching code, and we hand over training plus a written guide. If the volunteer changes, the next one can pick it up from the guide.
Does it work with our giving platform?
Yes. We connect the site to the giving platform you already use so gifts land where they do now, and we make the giving flow work in two taps on a phone.
How long does a church website take?
A few weeks once service details, photos, and staff information are gathered. We give you a timeline and a short list of what we need so nothing stalls.
Can you build for churches outside Louisiana?
Yes. Most of the process happens over video and shared proofs. We are in Denham Springs and work with churches across the Baton Rouge area and out of state.
Will people find the church on Google?
That is part of the build. Google Business Profile is matched to the site, service times and address are structured so search engines read them, and the ranking basics are included. Someone searching for a church in your town on Saturday night should find you.
