Leave This Place Better Than We Found It.
You need customers to make money, visibility to get customers, and a professional site to compete for them. Then someone quotes thousands you do not have yet. That cycle keeps good businesses invisible. We listen before we decide what is possible, and sometimes that means pennies on the dollar.
- Our mantra is leave this place better than we found it. It applies to our clients, our community, and every business we get a chance to help.
- Pennies on the dollar when we can. No pennies? No problem. Tell us your story, and we will help the best we can.
- Service before sales. We would rather tell you how to fix something yourself than pretend it needs a monthly contract.
Where it comes from
A Career Spent Showing Up on Bad Days.
BlakSheep Creative is owned by Clint L. Sanchez, a veteran and a longtime member of the Baton Rouge Fire Department. He has spent 29 years there: riding fire apparatus, nearly two decades as a fire inspector in Fire Prevention, and now as Chief of Information and Technology.
When you spend most of your adult life in a profession built around helping people on some of the worst days of their lives, it changes how you measure success. Money matters. We are still a business, and bills remain committed to being paid in actual currency. But money is not the only form of equity that matters.
People equity
People Equity Over Financial Equity.
Financial equity is easy to understand. You invest money and expect a financial return. People equity works differently. Sometimes you invest your time, knowledge, experience or connections in another person because helping that person succeed has value of its own.
A small business owner we help today may become a client later. They may refer someone five years from now. They may help somebody else because somebody once helped them. Or maybe none of that happens. Sometimes helping someone is simply the right thing to do.
We believe relationships, reputation, trust and the number of people you helped along the way can be worth more than squeezing every possible dollar out of every transaction. That does not mean our work has no value. It means we get to decide where that value matters most.
Sometimes helping someone is simply the right thing to do.
The budget problem
Budget Should Not Decide Who Gets a Chance.
Professional marketing can be expensive, and for a new business owner that creates an ugly cycle. You need customers to make money. You need visibility to get customers. You need a professional online presence to compete for them. Then somebody tells you that getting started costs thousands of dollars you do not have yet.
We do not believe a lack of budget should automatically keep a good small business owner from a legitimate chance to succeed online. That does not mean every project is free.
It means we listen before we decide what is possible.
What it costs
Pennies on the Dollar. No Pennies? No Problem.
We can work this way because BlakSheep Creative is not Clint's primary bread and butter. His fire department career gives the company the freedom to look at some opportunities differently than an agency that has to extract maximum revenue from every available hour. That freedom comes with responsibility.
Our normal rates
Most projects. A fixed quote in writing before work starts. Custom websites start at $3,500 and the marketing plan is $500 a month.
Reduced rates
When a good business needs a professional presence and the full price would stop it, we substantially reduce the rate.
Pennies on the dollar
Some projects we take on for a fraction of the usual cost, because helping that person succeed has value of its own.
We got you
Occasionally the pennies are missing entirely. We cannot do that for everyone, but we will hear your case.
Service before sales
We Would Rather Help Than Sell.
- We would rather build relationships than turn every interaction into a transaction.
- We would rather teach a business owner something useful than manufacture a reason they need to pay us.
- We would rather tell you how to fix a problem yourself than pretend the solution requires a monthly contract.
- We would rather earn trust over time than squeeze a sale out of somebody who cannot afford it.
- Sometimes the job is a full website and marketing program. Sometimes it is fixing one problem, or twenty minutes on the phone pointing you in the right direction. The invoice is not always the most important outcome.
Not another AI agency
A Person Answers the Phone.
A new wave of marketing agencies is really a software subscription with a logo on it. You fill out a form, a tool generates the site and the posts, and nobody you can call knows your business or your town.
We use AI tools, and we sell AI search and automation work, because they are useful. The difference is who decides. Here a person who has built and marketed websites for 26 years makes the calls, answers the phone, and will tell you when you do not need to pay us for something.
Small business owners are usually very good at their trade and lost when it comes to marketing. That should not make them easy prey. It should make them worth helping. Our job is not to impress you with marketing terms. It is to use what we know to help your business compete.

Tell us your story
What to Tell Us, and What Can Happen.
Start with the four things below. From there we see what we can do. Maybe we reduce the price. Maybe we structure the project differently. Maybe we handle the part you cannot afford and teach you to do another part yourself. Maybe we point you toward a better option or connect you with somebody. And sometimes we simply decide: we got you.
01
What you are building
The business, the nonprofit, the idea. What it does and who it serves.
02
Why it matters
To you, your family, your customers or your community.
03
Where you are stuck
No website, no calls, no reviews, or no idea where to start.
04
What you can afford
A real number, even if it is small, and even if it is zero.
What success looks like
Clients Who Become Friends.
We want BlakSheep Creative to be successful. We want profitable projects and good clients who hire us because they believe we are worth what we charge. But we also want to look back and see businesses that survived because somebody helped at the right time: companies that started with almost nothing and became employers, nonprofits that reached more people, local shops that competed against much larger budgets.
Careers end. Businesses change hands. Websites disappear, rankings change, and money gets spent. What remains is the effect you had on other people. If we can build a successful business while helping other people build theirs, that is a pretty good way to do it.
The short answer
BlakSheep Creative is a veteran- and firefighter-owned web design and marketing company in Denham Springs, Louisiana, run on one mantra: leave this place better than we found it. Most projects are done at our normal rates. Some we reduce substantially, and occasionally we work for nothing. That is possible because the company is not its owner's only income, so no project has to be squeezed for every dollar.
