Gutter Company Reviews That Hold Up in the Storm.

Gutter installs are quick, and the crew is gone before the homeowner sees the first hard rain. When it works, nobody thinks to post. When one seam drips, the review comes fast. Homeowners comparing gutter companies see that one first. We ask every customer after the install and answer every review.

  • Homeowners read gutter and patio cover reviews for clean installs, crews that showed up when promised, and how the company handled a leak or a callback.
  • Ask every customer when the install is finished, not only the happiest ones. That keeps the request within Google’s policies and keeps new reviews arriving.
  • Gutters and patio covers are different buyers, and reviews that name the product give each one the proof they are looking for.
  • Google’s policies prohibit offering incentives for reviews, and the FTC rule in force since October 2024 bans fake reviews and rewards tied to positive ones.

What keeps the phone quiet

Why solid installers end up with leaky profiles.

Fast jobs, forgotten asks

A gutter crew can finish one house and be at the next before lunch. Nobody asks for a review, and a company that installs all season shows a profile that barely moves.

One leak review leads the profile

A seam drips or a downspout dumps water by the foundation. The crew fixed it on a callback, but the review written during the storm still sits at the top with no reply.

Patio buyers find only gutter reviews

Most reviews just say great gutters. The homeowner weighing a patio cover or screened room, a much bigger decision, scrolls and finds almost nothing about covers, so they trust a company whose reviews talk about them.

“Great to work with and has ideas for things you didn't even think about. Very impressed and pleased with their work. I'd definitely recommend them!”

What you get

Built to book the job.

A request after every install

A text with a one-tap link to your Google review box, sent to every customer when the install is marked complete, with a line inviting them to mention what was installed. With Grow it goes out on its own, not when the crew lead remembers between jobs. Grow for gutter companies

Problems reach you first

The same message asks how the install went. Anyone who mentions a drip, an overflow or a mess left behind gets a call that day. Everyone still gets the review link, because filtering who is asked breaks Google’s policies.

Every review answered

Each review gets a reply in your voice: a thank you that names the product in general terms for a good one, and a calm, specific answer for a bad one, without posting a customer’s address in public.

Leak and callback complaints handled honestly

A reply that explains in general terms what caused the problem, when the crew came back or will, and how to reach the owner. If the install was wrong, the reply says so. Homeowners trust a company that owns a mistake.

Policy reports, not removals

Fake reviews, posts from someone who was never a customer and reviews meant for another gutter or patio company are reported with the specific Google policy cited. Google decides. A genuine complaint stays up and gets a reply.

Reviews on each product page

Your best reviews placed on the product pages they describe, such as a screened room review on the screened room page and a guard review on the gutter guard page, with review markup only where those reviews are visible on the page.

The profile the stars sit on

Reviews show on your Google Business Profile, and the categories, services, service area and project photos that decide whether you appear in the map pack are a separate job. Google Business Profile for gutter companies

The short answer

Gutter company reviews are what a homeowner reads before choosing who to trust with seamless gutters, guards or a new patio cover. We send a review request to every customer when the install is done, invite them to mention what was installed, reply to every review in your voice, answer leak and scheduling complaints honestly for the next reader, report only reviews that break Google’s policies, and place real reviews on each product page.

Common questions about reputation management for patio cover & gutter companies

When should a gutter company ask for a review?
When the install is finished and the site is cleaned up, while the homeowner can still see the crew’s work fresh. A text with a one-tap link that evening beats a request on the invoice. For a patio cover, ask after the final walkthrough. Ask every customer.
How should we reply to a review about a leak?
Calmly and for the next reader. Thank them, say a leak is not the result you want either, and say when the crew came back or will. Give a direct number for the owner. Do not blame the roof or the weather in public unless that truly was the cause, and even then explain it plainly.
Should patio cover and gutter reviews be handled differently?
The ask is the same, and every customer gets it. The difference is where the reviews are used: a patio cover review belongs on the patio cover page, where a homeowner planning a bigger project is looking for proof, and a gutter review on the gutter page.
Can we discount gutter guards for a review?
No. Google’s policies do not allow incentives for reviews, and the FTC rule in force since October 2024 bans rewards conditioned on positive reviews and bans fake ones outright. Ask every customer with no strings attached, make it one tap, and let honest reviews from finished installs carry the rating over time.
Can you get a bad review removed?
Only if it breaks Google’s policies, such as a fake review, one from someone who was never a customer, or one about a different business. We report those with the policy cited, and Google decides. A genuine complaint about an install stays up, so the reply is what you control.
Can we only send the review link to happy customers?
No. Sending the link only to customers who said they were satisfied is review gating, and Google’s policies prohibit it. Ask everyone. The same message can ask how the install went so you hear about a problem first and can fix it, but every one of them still gets the link.
