Overview
Performance Patios and Gutters, a locally owned company in Baton Rouge, LA, specializes in high-quality patio and gutter solutions designed to withstand Louisiana’s intense weather. Unfortunately, their website wasn’t performing nearly as well as their services. Another so-called SEO expert had recently “redesigned” it, but despite the facelift, the site gained virtually zero traction and was ranking for only two keywords.
We were brought in to fix that.
The Challenge
The prior “redesign” looked new on the surface, but underneath, it was broken. There was no content strategy, the navigation was disjointed, and no clear direction for users. Service pages were thin, generic, and lacked localized relevance. Most importantly, the SEO structure was nonexistent—no meta optimization, blog categories, internal linking strategy, or schema markup. Despite being a visually refreshed site, it failed to generate leads or visibility.

We threw out the band-aid and rebuilt the website from the ground up—with strategy leading the way:

- Service pages were rewritten to clearly explain the value of each offering, with keyword-rich, localized content for Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.
- Portfolio entries are organized by service type and city, showcasing real work with metadata, alt text, and structured data.
- Blog strategy We introduced categorized posts under Louisiana Weather Challenges, Gutter Maintenance Tips, and Patio Style Ideas to drive long-tail traffic.
- Contact and appointment forms optimized for accessibility, improving user flow and increasing inquiries.
- SEO done right—on-page optimization, URL structure, internal linking, and technical fixes to lay the foundation for organic growth.
Results
While the previous redesign left the site ranking for just two keywords, our overhaul created a platform built for growth. We’ve already seen a marked improvement in keyword tracking, user engagement, and leads—and we’re just getting started.
