Reputation Management

Moving Company Reviews From Every Move You Finish.

Movers rarely see a customer twice, so every review has to come from a job you just finished. Most families unpack, exhale and forget. The one whose dresser arrived scratched does not. Now people about to trust you with everything they own read that first. We ask after every delivery and answer every review.

  • People hiring a mover read reviews for care with belongings, crews that arrived when promised, and a final bill that matched the estimate.
  • A family rarely moves twice with the same company, so the review has to be asked for right after delivery. Asking every customer keeps the request within Google’s policies.
  • A clear reply to a damage complaint that explains how a claim is handled reassures the next customer far more than silence does.
  • Google’s policies prohibit offering incentives for reviews, and the FTC rule in force since October 2024 bans fake reviews and rewards tied to positive ones.

What keeps the phone quiet

Why careful movers end up with scary profiles.

No second chance to ask

The crew unloads, the customer signs, and the truck leaves for the next job. A family in the middle of unpacking never thinks about a review again, and nobody follows up.

One damage review leads the profile

A table leg cracked or a door frame got scuffed on the way out. The review sits at the top with no reply, and every customer comparing movers reads it as how you treat their things.

Bill surprises with no explanation

The final bill came in above the estimate because of extra stairs, a long carry or more items than listed. The review says the mover raised the price, and without a reply nobody sees why.

“Look no further if you are looking for a badass company for your website and SEO needs. This is a business that will excel your expectations. Suppose you don't believe me; check out Red White & Badass Brew page. Super stoked to have them on my side. Keep up the great work, guys.”

What you get

Built to book the job.

A request after every delivery

A text with a one-tap link to your Google review box, sent to every customer once the last item is off the truck. With Grow it goes out when the job is marked complete, not when the crew lead remembers at the end of a long day. Grow for moving companies

Problems reach you first

The same message asks how the move went. Anyone who mentions damage or a problem is contacted that day and told how to start a claim. Everyone still gets the review link, because filtering who is asked breaks Google’s policies.

Every review answered

Each review gets a reply in your voice: a thank you that names the kind of move in general terms for a good one, and a calm, specific answer for a bad one, without posting a customer’s addresses, inventory or claim details in public.

Damage and billing complaints handled honestly

A reply that explains in general terms how claims work and why a final bill can differ from an estimate, with a direct way to reach the owner. If the crew got it wrong, the reply says so. Customers trust a mover that owns a mistake.

Policy reports, not removals

Fake reviews, posts from someone who was never a customer and reviews meant for another moving company are reported with the specific Google policy cited. Google decides. A genuine complaint stays up and gets a reply.

Reviews on your service pages

Your best reviews placed on the pages they describe, such as a long distance review on the long distance page and a storage review on the storage page, with review markup only where those reviews are visible on the page.

The profile the stars sit on

Reviews show on your Google Business Profile, and the categories, services, service area and crew photos that decide whether you appear in the map pack are a separate job. Google Business Profile for moving companies

The short answer

Moving company reviews are how a customer decides whether to let strangers carry everything they own, and SE Ranking shows 760 US searches a month for the phrase. We send a review request after every delivery, reply to every review in your voice, answer damage and final bill complaints honestly for the next reader, report only reviews that break Google’s policies, and place real reviews on your local, long distance and storage pages.

Common questions about reputation management for moving & storage companies

When should a moving company ask for a review?
The same day, after the last item is unloaded and the paperwork is signed. The crew was just in their home and the relief is fresh. A text with a one-tap link that evening beats a request printed on the invoice. Ask every customer, local and long distance alike.
How should we reply to a review about damaged furniture?
Calmly, briefly and for the next reader. Thank them, say you are sorry it happened, explain in general terms how the claim process works, and give a direct number for the owner. Do not argue about how it was packed or post claim details in public.
What about a review saying the final bill was higher than the quote?
Explain in general terms what can change a moving bill, such as extra items, stairs or a longer carry, if that is what happened, and invite them to go over the invoice with the owner. If the estimate itself was wrong, say so and say what you will do about it.
Can we give a storage discount for a review?
No. Google’s policies do not allow incentives for reviews, and the FTC rule in force since October 2024 bans rewards conditioned on positive reviews and bans fake ones outright. Ask every customer with no strings attached, make it one tap, and let honest reviews from finished moves carry the rating over time.
Can you get a bad review removed?
Only if it breaks Google’s policies, such as a fake review, one from someone who was never a customer, or one about a different business. We report those with the policy cited, and Google decides. A genuine complaint about a move stays up, so the reply is what you control.
Can we only send the review link to happy customers?
No. Sending the link only to customers who said they were satisfied is review gating, and Google’s policies prohibit it. Ask everyone. The same message can ask how the move went so you hear about a problem first and can fix it, but every one of them still gets the link.
