Google Business Profile

Restaurant Google Business Profile That Fills Tables.

Hungry and undecided, a group scrolls the map and picks a place from the photos. Your listing shows an old menu, a blurry plate and hours that miss the late kitchen you added. The spot with fresh food photos and a working menu gets the table. We keep your profile as current as tonight’s specials.

  • Diners decide on the map, from photos, hours and the menu. Many choose where to eat without ever opening your website.
  • Hours that change for holidays, private events or a seasonal menu need updating on the profile ahead of time, or the listing sends people to a closed door.
  • Diners read reviews in more than one place. Google’s sit beside your map listing, so they get a steady routine of asking and replying.
  • Google no longer offers questions and answers on Business Profiles, so parking, allergy and large party questions belong in your description and on your website.

What keeps the phone quiet

Why the place down the street gets the table.

A menu that is out of date

The profile links to a menu from two seasons ago, or a file that will not open on a phone. A diner who came for a dish you dropped is let down at the table, and one looking for a dish you added never finds it.

Photos the public picked

With few photos from you, the listing leans on whatever customers uploaded: dim plates, a crowded corner, the parking lot. People eat with their eyes first, and the restaurant that posts good food photos every month gets the visit.

Hours that say open when the kitchen is closed

Holiday hours never set, a private event never noted, a new brunch never added. A family drives over for dinner and finds the doors locked, and the review they leave is about the hours, not the food.

“Blaksheep Creative was such a pleasure to work with. Great service and even better results!”

What you get

Built to book the job.

Categories that match the cuisine

Your primary category set to the closest match for your cuisine and style of service in Google’s current list, confirmed when we do the work, with secondary categories only where they are true, such as catering if you offer it.

A menu people can read on a phone

Your current menu on the profile and on your website as real text, not a scanned page, updated whenever dishes or prices change, so the listing and the site always agree.

Hours, holidays and service options

Regular hours, holiday hours and special hours for events set ahead of time, plus the dine-in, takeout and delivery options and the reservation or ordering links that match how you actually serve.

Food, room and team photos every month

New photos of signature dishes, the dining room, the bar or patio and the staff, with their permission, added every month so your own shots lead the listing instead of whatever a customer uploaded.

Posts for specials, calls covered

Posts for weekly specials, events and seasonal menus, so the listing looks open and busy. With Grow, a call that rings out during the rush gets a text back in seconds, and guests can get a review request after the visit. Grow for restaurants

A review routine from day one

Profile fixes can move quickly; reviews build over months. The ask goes out after the visit, while the meal is still on the guest’s mind, and every Google review gets a reply. Collecting and answering reviews is its own job. Reputation management for restaurants

The short answer

A restaurant Google Business Profile is the listing that decides whether you appear when people search restaurants near me, a phrase SE Ranking puts at 101,000,000 US searches a month. We check your categories at setup, keep the menu and hours current, set the service options and the reservation or ordering links your systems support, and post real photos of your food, your dining room and your staff.

Common questions about google business profile for restaurants

What Google category should a restaurant use?
The most specific match for what you serve from Google’s current list, which we check at setup because it changes. A taqueria, a seafood house and a breakfast cafe each have closer fits than a generic restaurant category. Add secondary categories only where they are true, such as a bar or catering you actually run.
Should the menu be on the profile, the website or both?
Both, and they should match. Diners check the profile on the way out the door and the website when they are planning ahead. A menu typed as real text loads on any phone and can be read by Google, while a photo of a printed menu often cannot be read or searched.
How often should a restaurant add photos?
Every month at least. Fresh photos of dishes, the room and the staff keep your own images ahead of the shots customers upload. Shoot in good light, show the plates people actually order, and add new ones whenever the menu changes or the season turns.
Can diners still ask questions on our profile?
No. Google has discontinued the questions and answers feature on Business Profiles, so we do not sell it. The questions diners ask, such as parking, high chairs, allergies or large parties, go into your business description, your service options and the FAQ on your website.
What about reviews on other sites?
Diners read reviews in more than one place, and each platform has its own rules. This page covers Google, because Google’s reviews sit beside your map listing. The reply habits carry over anywhere: answer every review calmly and specifically, thank people by what they ordered, and take complaints offline quickly.
How fast does profile work show up?
Category, menu and hours fixes can change how you appear within a few weeks, which makes this the quickest part of local search. Reviews build more slowly, and nobody controls how far a diner is from your door. Starting the review routine the same day is what closes the gap over time.
