Google Business Profile

A Concrete Contractor Google Business Profile That Shows the Work.

Cracked and sunken, the old driveway finally has to go, so the homeowner opens the map and compares the concrete listings nearby. Yours shows a truck, a logo and a vague category, while the next crew shows stamped patios and fresh driveways. We fix the profile so your finished pours do the talking.

  • The map answers many concrete searches before any website does, so the profile is often the first look a homeowner gets at your work.
  • Driveways, patios, slabs, foundations and stamped work are separate searches. Listing each as its own service gives Google something to match.
  • Concrete crews work at the customer’s property, so a service area with the address hidden usually fits Google’s guidelines better than a published home address.
  • Google no longer offers the questions and answers feature on Business Profiles, so what homeowners ask about cure times, cracking and finishes belongs in your description and website FAQ.

What keeps the phone quiet

Why the next crew on the map gets the call.

A category and nothing else

The listing names the trade and stops. A homeowner searching for a stamped patio or a driveway replacement sees nothing that says you pour either, and the profile beside yours lists both.

No finished pours to compare

The only photos are the truck and a logo. Concrete is bought on what the last job looked like, so a homeowner who cannot see a driveway or a patio like the one they want keeps scrolling.

A service area that does not match

The area was set years ago and leaves out towns your crews drive to every week, or a home address is showing by mistake. Either way the profile tells Google the wrong thing about where you work.

“Look no further if you are looking for a badass company for your website and SEO needs. This is a business that will excel your expectations. Suppose you don't believe me; check out Red White & Badass Brew page. Super stoked to have them on my side. Keep up the great work, guys.”

What you get

Built to book the job.

Categories checked at setup

Your primary category set to the closest match in Google’s current list, confirmed on the day we do the work, with secondary categories only for work your crews really pour.

Each pour listed as a service

Driveways, patios, slabs and foundations, sidewalks, stamped and decorative finishes, tear out and replacement, and commercial flatwork, each entered on its own with a plain description of the job.

A service area that matches the trucks

Address hidden with a service area of the towns you really work in, or shown if clients visit an office or yard, with name, phone and hours matching your website and the major directories.

Captioned photos of finished jobs

Finished driveways and patios in good light, stamped patterns up close, forms and rebar before the pour, and crews at work, with the owner’s permission, added as jobs finish rather than all at once.

Posts when a pour wraps

A short post with photos and the kind of job, pointing to the matching page on your site. Questions about cure times and finishes go in your description and website FAQ, since Google has retired the questions feature. Concrete contractor website design

Reviews asked for at the walkthrough

Profile fixes can move quickly; reviews build over months. The ask goes out when the homeowner sees the finished surface for the first time. Collecting and answering reviews is its own job. Reputation management for concrete contractors

The short answer

A concrete contractor Google Business Profile decides whether you show in the map when someone searches for a driveway, a patio or a concrete contractor nearby, and what they see before they call. We confirm your categories against Google’s current list, enter each pour as its own service, set a service area that matches where your crews work, and add captioned photos of finished jobs.

Common questions about google business profile for concrete contractors

What Google category should a concrete contractor use?
The closest match to the work you do most, from Google’s current list, which we check at setup because it changes. A crew that mostly pours driveways and one that mainly does commercial flatwork may need different setups. Secondary categories go on only for work you really sell.
Should we show our address or a service area?
If customers never come to your office or yard, Google’s guidelines call for hiding the address and listing the towns you serve. If clients do visit, show it. A home address published by accident is a common problem, and we fix it at setup.
What photos should a concrete contractor add?
Finished work shot low enough to show the finish, stamped patterns up close, before photos of the cracked slab you replaced, and prep shots of forms and rebar. Add them as jobs finish, with the owner’s permission. Real photos from your own pours beat any stock image.
Should stamped and decorative work be listed separately?
Yes, if you sell it. A homeowner who wants a stamped patio is looking for proof you have poured one. A separate service with a plain description, plus photos of the patterns and colors you have done, gives Google and the homeowner something to match.
Can homeowners still ask questions on our profile?
No. Google has discontinued the questions and answers feature on Business Profiles, so we do not offer it. Questions about cure times, cracking, finishes and whether you remove old concrete go in your description, your services and the FAQ on your website.
Do Google posts help a concrete contractor?
They show the company is active and give a finished job somewhere to live on the profile. They are not a ranking shortcut. Categories, services, reviews and distance from the searcher matter more, so posts come after those are right, on a steady schedule.
How fast does profile work show up?
Category, service and service area fixes can change where you appear within a few weeks. Reviews build more slowly, and nobody controls how far a homeowner is from your crews. Starting the review ask the same week is what keeps the profile getting stronger over time.
