Social Media Marketing
Social Media Marketing in Gonzales, LA, Timed to the Crowd.
Thousands of people pull into Gonzales for a show weekend, and your restaurant posts nothing until Monday. They ate at the chain by the interstate because it was the only place they had heard of. We plan your posts and ads around the event calendar so visitors find you before they park.
- Visitors decide where to eat and shop in the two or three days before an event, usually from a phone. A post that goes up the Monday after has missed all of them.
- A short ad run aimed at people physically in Gonzales during a show weekend is one of the cheapest ways to reach out-of-towners with money to spend.
- Locals from Prairieville, Sorrento, and St. Amant follow Gonzales pages too. The feed has to serve the regulars between events, not only the crowds.
- Vendors and event organizers need the opposite schedule: weeks of countdown posts before the gates open, then daily updates on site.
What keeps the phone quiet
How Gonzales businesses miss their busiest weekends.
No idea what is on at the expo center
The owner finds out a show is in town when the parking lot fills up. Nothing was posted, no special was planned, and staff were not scheduled for it.
Event pages with one flyer and silence
An organizer posts the date once, three months out, and nothing again until the week of. Ticket and vendor sign-ups lag because nobody was reminded.
Hours wrong on the days that count
A festival Saturday or a holiday Monday shows regular hours online. Visitors drive over, find the door locked or the line out of it, and say so in a review.
“Great to work with and has ideas for things you didn't even think about. Very impressed and pleased with their work. I'd definitely recommend them!”
What you get
Built to book the job.
An event calendar matched to yours
We track what is booked at Lamar Dixon and around town each quarter and plan your posts, specials, and ad dates against it.
Concert and event graphics
Lamar Dixon approached us to design the flyer for the Freedom Bash, a Veteran’s Help Foundation concert featuring Craig Morgan and Chase Tyler. We build event graphics in every size a feed, story, or print shop needs. See the Freedom Bash flyer
Countdowns for organizers
HardyCo Showdown is a two-day truck, car, and off-road event at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center. Its website, which we built, sells wristbands and signs vendors under a countdown to the gates. We run the social schedule that feeds a site like that. See the HardyCo Showdown site
Weekend ad runs
Small campaigns, switched on Thursday and off Sunday night, shown to people in Gonzales that weekend with directions and hours front and center.
Hours and listings kept true
Special hours updated on Facebook, Instagram, and Google before every holiday and event weekend, so the page and the map agree. Gonzales SEO and listings
Between-event posts for regulars
Menu changes, new stock, staff, and customer photos through the quiet weeks, so the page is already familiar when the next crowd arrives.

alejandra serranoGoogle review, 2026 “Clint took my company's project much further than I ever expected. His tech experience was fantastic, but even more than that, he guided me in directions I hadn't anticipated. We hadn't planned on some of the changes he suggested, but he made it all bigger, better and bolder.”
Christy GilfourGoogle review, 2026 “Clint and the team at Blaksheep have truly exceeded our expectations. From day one, the communication was clear, prompt, and professional. We were never left guessing where things stood. The work they've done on our website and social media presence has been outstanding.it looks great, functions seamlessly, and really captures the essence of our brand. We're so grateful to have found a team that combines creative talent with such reliability and responsiveness. We're genuinely excited to continue growing with Blaksheep and can't recommend them highly enough!"”
Brandon CurryGoogle review, 2026 “Shoutout to our IT wizard for fixing our work email and saving us all from a slow descent into chaos, carrier pigeons, and “did you get my message?” debates. He calmly swooped in, pushed some mysterious buttons only he understands, and—like magic—emails started working again. No dramatic sighs. No eye-rolling (at least not where we could see it). Just quiet competence and the subtle confidence of someone who knows we would’ve absolutely made it worse if we tried ourselves. Emails are flowing. Productivity is restored. Sanity levels have stabilized.”
Becky WardGoogle review, 2026 “I cannot RAVE and PRAISE enough about who Clint is as a person AND the amount of talent he holds. Genuine, funny, relaxed, and could not have asked for a better graphic designer to work with. When everyone else didn’t meet the expectations I needed for a really personal project, Clint exceeded above and beyond. THANK YOU to this man and the quality work he resulted me with. I will FOREVER use him in any and all design projects going forward!!!”
Megan TheriotGoogle review, 2026 ““BlakSheep Creative has completely changed how customers find my business.” Before working with Clint and the team, we were basically invisible online. Now we rank at the top of Google for all our core services — brush clearing, forestry mulching, land development — you name it. The leads we get are not just more frequent, they’re better quality. They took the time to understand our business, explained what they were doing in plain English, and followed through with results that speak for themselves. Couldn’t be happier with the service and support. If you own a service business in Livingston Parish and want to grow, this is the crew to call. – Adam Hodges Owner, Hodges Land Management Livingston, Louisiana”

The short answer
Gonzales sits where I-10 meets LA 30 in Ascension Parish, with Airline Highway and LA 44 through town. Its calendar is its advantage: the Lamar Dixon Expo Center fills most weekends with shows, rodeos, and expos, and the Jambalaya Festival brings its own crowd each spring. Social media marketing here is largely a timing job. We schedule posts, event graphics, and short ad runs so they land when visitors and locals are deciding where to eat, shop, and stay. We have built for a Lamar Dixon event and designed a concert flyer Lamar Dixon asked us for.
