Websites and Digital Marketing for Architects
Residential or commercial, your firm is hired on the strength of its work. BlakSheep Creative’s web design services put those projects in front of the clients searching for a professional architectural firm.
Considered imagery, engaging video, and strategically written content optimized for search engines work together so your firm places well in online results. Our web design and SEO professionals handle both halves of that.
Once a client clicks through, they land on a web design that shows your firm’s projects alongside your team’s skills and background.
Grow your Architectural Business With a Responsive Web Design
Most first impressions of an architecture firm now happen on a phone, often on site or between meetings. A responsive build decides how your work reads to the person choosing who to call.
Here is what that means for a practice like yours:
Renderings That Survive a Phone Screen
Elevations, sections and renderings carry detail that collapses when a theme crops them to a square. Your images are sized per breakpoint so the drawing still reads at 390 pixels wide.
Built for Weak Job-Site Connections
Clients open your work from job trailers and parking lots. Large photography is compressed and lazy-loaded so the first screen arrives fast on one bar of signal.
Navigation That Matches How Clients Shop
A homeowner planning a custom residence and a municipality shortlisting for a civic building want different proof. Projects are filterable by type, so each visitor reaches a relevant example in one click.
Project Pages That Can Be Forwarded
Every project gets its own page on its own URL, so a partner can send one building to a selection committee instead of pointing them at your homepage to hunt for it.
Web Design Services for Architects
No matter what your architectural firm’s design discipline and niche, BlakSheep’s web designs can be created to be anything from minimalist with high-definition, high-impact imagery or information-rich with in-depth project descriptions, photos, and fact sheets.
Websites that Work
All of our websites are:
Photography That Loads Fast
Your renders are the product. We compress them properly so they appear instantly, without you being able to tell the difference.
Projects Filterable by Type
Clients arrive with a building in mind. Education, healthcare, residential, commercial. One click to the work that matches.
A Page for Every Project
Each project gets its own URL and a short story, so it can be found by people searching for that building type in your area.
Named People, Real Photographs
Architecture is bought from people, not firms. We put your team where a prospective client can actually see them.
Says Who You Are For
Naming your sectors does not turn work away. A site that says it does schools gets called by people building schools.
Built for the Phone First
Clients look at your work on a phone between meetings. Full-bleed imagery has to hold up on a small screen too.
Structured for Search
Sector and location pages that give search engines something specific to rank, instead of one portfolio grid.
You Own Everything
Domain, hosting, files, images and content. If we ever part ways, you take the whole thing with you.
Priced Before We Start
A firm number before any work begins, based on how many projects you want to show and what state the photography is in.
You Deserve a Website that is as Dynamic as Your Architecture
BlakSheep Creative’s web design and SEO professionals are experienced in creating architecturally themed websites. We understand the specific SEO requirements to rank your page higher on Google.
Once they visit your website, potential clients will experience a web design that creatively showcases your firm’s projects and your team’s skills and background.

More than Just Designers
A web designer who cannot develop hands your site to someone else halfway through, and detail gets lost in the handoff. Design and development come from one place here.
We know HTML and CSS, so we can build the site you have always wanted. That means your site is not only handsome but functional.
Our web developers also work in JavaScript, PHP and MySQL, so custom functionality is on the table, from an online store to a feature nobody else offers.
Templates do not limit us. We design websites from scratch because that makes the end product the best it can be for our clients.
From a simple informational site with a blog to a complete online store, we have the experience to turn your ideas into something real. As a BlakSheep Creative client, you work directly with your assigned designer or developer on every project.
Each team member is an expert in their field and works with you personally, so your website is right before it goes live.
Our Ten Step Process
Our ten-step process exists so you always know what happens next and what we need from you. Nothing moves to the next stage until you have signed off on the one before it.
Your Vision
Getting started on your project begins with an initial meeting so that our team can get to know you, your business, and your goals.
We ask a lot of questions about what you want for your website’s future and what you do now.
Brainstorming
After learning more about who you are and what you do, we start brainstorming with the ultimate goal of creating an engaging and user-friendly website that will make a lasting impression on your new and existing customers.
Custom Branding
With web design, we want to integrate your branding into all aspects of the website.
Your logo is the cornerstone of your brand identity, and it needs to be present throughout every page on your website, so people are instantly familiar with who you are.
Site Architecture & Content Development
Information architecture is a strategic and logical approach to organizing the content on your website. What should be first? What should follow next? How do you want the information to flow from page to page? Our web design team knows how to make your website comfortable for users to get where they want to go without getting lost.
Wireframing
Once we have an idea of how the website will flow, we begin creating wireframes to present our ideas and build consensus on exactly how everything will look for the final version of your website.
This also helps us determine if or not things are working as we expected.
If there is anything that you will want to change, we’ll work with you to make sure everything is exactly how you envisioned.
Design & Development
Our web design and development team will begin the actual web development process after getting approval for your wireframes.
This phase includes web design, graphic design, and programming to create a beautiful final website.
Quality Assurance & Testing
Quality assurance is the pass where every part of your new website gets checked against the plan, on real devices and real browsers.
Anything we find gets fixed before the website goes live, not after.
Deployment & User Acceptance Testing
When everything is working correctly and looks exactly like you want, we will deploy your new website for you.
This final testing phase makes sure that all of the pages are working together to create one cohesive website that users can start using right away.
Post-Launch Services
Post-launch maintenance means monitoring the health of your site so it keeps running efficiently and keeps up with changes in SEO, Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
We provide support and content management so clients can keep improving their sites and hitting their business goals.
Free Training & Knowledge Base
Our web design service continues after your website goes live.
We will provide you with free training and an online knowledge base to help run your new website, including a basic SEO setup to improve your search engine rankings and regular tips for keeping it healthy for years to come.

What Architects Ask Before Hiring Us
These come up on nearly every call with a firm that is about to rebuild. If yours is not here, ask us and we will answer it straight.
Do we own the website when it is finished?
Yes, outright. The domain, the hosting account, the files and the content are yours. You can move the whole site to another host or another agency without asking our permission, and nothing stops working if you do.
Can you use our existing project photography?
Usually. Most firms already have renderings, construction progress shots and finished photography. We size and art-direct what you have for each breakpoint, and we tell you honestly which projects need a reshoot to hold up at full width rather than quietly cropping them small.
How long does an architecture firm website take?
It depends almost entirely on how many projects you want live at launch and what state the photography is in. You get a firm timeline and a firm number before any work starts, so you are not guessing partway through.
What does a website for an architecture firm cost?
Custom builds are quoted before work begins, based on how many projects you are showing and what the scope covers. If you would rather spread the cost, our pay-monthly websites start at $250 a month with a $498 setup fee.
Can we add new projects ourselves after launch?
Yes. Adding a project is a form, not a redesign. Every client gets training and access to our knowledge base, and the project structure takes new work without anything breaking or needing us.
Do you work with firms outside Louisiana?
Regularly. Recent architecture builds include a firm on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands and a practice in Wasilla, Alaska. The work runs over email, scheduled calls and shared review links, so distance changes very little.
