How We Gave a Firefighter-Owned Bin Cleaning Company a Website That Books the Route
TidyCan Alabama is a firefighter-owned, locally run trash can cleaning service in North Alabama. The work is simple and the promise is honest: fresh, sanitized bins with no hassle and no smell. What the company needed was a website that could take that promise, put it in front of a homeowner tired of a stinking garage, and turn it into a scheduled cleaning.
They needed a site that loads fast on a phone, explains the plans without a phone call, and makes signing up the easiest thing on the page. So we built one around a single action: book the first clean today.
Built to Turn a Smelly Bin Into a Booked Clean
- Mobile-first, fast-loading design for homeowners searching on their phones
- A clear “Sign Up For Service” call to action on every screen
- Simple, transparent pricing with One-Time, Bi-Monthly, Monthly, and Quarterly plans laid out side by side
- A high-temperature clean explained in plain language, so the value is obvious before anyone calls
- Copy that leads with the no-hassle, no-smell promise the owner built the business on
Every page points to one outcome: getting a fresh bin scheduled. The site does the explaining while the crew is out on the route.
Designed Around the Firefighter-Owned Story
- A brand and layout built on the firefighter-owned, locally run reputation
- Trust signals up front: local ownership, real reviews, and a straight-pricing promise
- Copy written for the North Alabama homeowner who wants a clean bin without a sales pitch
- A professional, neighborly feel that reads as a local specialist, not a franchise
The design tells homeowners they are hiring a neighbor who takes the job as seriously as the one he already does.
Structured to Win Local Search Across North Alabama
- Service and city coverage for Huntsville, Athens, Madison, and the greater North Alabama area
- Schema markup, clean code, and technical SEO in place from day one
- A structure tied to a Google Business Profile so the company shows up for “trash can cleaning near me”
- A scalable build so new cities and plans can be added without a rebuild
Homeowners looking for a cleaner bin are searching locally, and the site was built to be the result they find and trust.
Built to Turn Reputation Into Recurring Revenue
- Online sign-up and plan selection so a first clean can be booked without a phone call
- Recurring plans front and center to turn one-time cleans into a standing route
- A review section that turns happy neighbors into visible, searchable proof
- Google Analytics and Search Console connected, so the lead pipeline is measurable from day one
This is not a digital flyer. It is a booking engine built to grow a firefighter’s side route into a full, recurring schedule.
“I wanted our site to feel like us: straight, local, and no nonsense. Now a neighbor can find us, see the price, and book a fresh bin in about a minute, even while I’m on the truck.”
— Jason Hogan, Owner, TidyCan Alabama

Three Months After Launch: Page One on the Searches That Book Jobs
A brand new domain has no history and no brand recognition. Nobody in North Alabama was searching for TidyCan by name. The site had to win on service searches instead, and within three months it did.
- 14,002 search impressions and 369 clicks between July 6 and October 2, 2026.
- 215 non-branded searches on page one of Google, and 49 in the top three.
- Trash can cleaning service at position 6.0 and trash bin cleaning service at 7.0.
- 630 of 653 searches did not include the company name. People were searching for the service, not the company.
- 52 separate “near me” searches produced 583 impressions and 27 clicks.
- TidyCan’s leads grew from 250 to 430 between September 1 and October 1, up 72%.
Search Console data covers July 6 to October 2, 2026. The full breakdown, including the month impressions fell, is in the TidyCan Alabama case study.
