Ronin District Website Launch

Websites · 2026

A pre-launch website for Ronin District, a trading card, anime, streetwear and tattoo shop planned for Baton Rouge, built for the distributors who decide before opening day.

Ronin District is a trading card, anime, streetwear and tattoo shop planned for Baton Rouge, Louisiana, owned by tattoo artist Cory Veron. The company is registered, and the planned opening is January 2027. There is no storefront and no stock yet.

That changes who the website is for. Before a single customer walks in, the shop has to win accounts with distributors and brands, so the site was built for the reader who decides first.

Written for the reader who decides first

A rep from a card or merchandise distributor needs to know what the shop plans to carry, who runs it, and how to reach them. The homepage leads with the retail lines and closes with a section built for exactly that visit:

  • Four planned lines up front: cards, anime, streetwear and the tattoo studio.
  • A retail and wholesale inquiries section with Vendor Inquiries and Contact buttons.
  • One business email, so a request lands in one place.

Everything labelled planned until it is true

A shop that is not open cannot claim stock, accounts or a licence it does not hold yet, and a distributor will check. So every line on the site carries a Planned tag, and a Where This Stands section says it in plain terms:

  • Coming to Baton Rouge, with the address held back until the space is secured.
  • A planned opening of January 2027, stated as a plan.
  • Straight about the shelf: no stock, account or licence is claimed before it exists.

A fact sheet a vendor can check

The inquiries section pairs the pitch with a short fact table: the registered company name, its entity type and registration date, the state charter number, the owner and manager, the planned lines, the storefront status, the planned opening and the business email. Each line is something a distributor can verify on their own.

One page per planned line

Trading card games, anime and collectibles, and streetwear each get a page that lists what the shop plans to carry and says what still depends on its distributor accounts. Each page closes with a link to the next line and the same inquiries block.

The artist’s real work, captioned honestly

The tattoo studio is planned for its own room inside the shop and is not taking appointments. The studio page still shows what Cory can do: 65 photographs of his own tattoos on a turning drum and a grid sorted by style. Every one is captioned as his earlier work, done before Ronin District existed, so nothing is passed off as work from a studio that is not open yet.

What we built

  • A Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS site with Framer Motion scroll effects, in the brand’s black and gold with the wordmark Cory supplied.
  • Seven main pages (home, three planned retail lines, the tattoo studio, about and contact) plus privacy, terms, cookie, accessibility and disclaimer pages.
  • Organization and WebSite structured data on the homepage, page and breadcrumb structured data across the site.
  • Analytics that loads only after a visitor allows it, with contact actions tracked as explicit events.
