How We Built a College-Recruiting Website for a Class of 2030 Softball Pitcher

Addyson Sanchez is a class of 2030 right-handed pitcher and utility player from Denham Springs, Louisiana, playing travel ball for the Lady Dukes Sibley and joining the Denham Springs High School program. She pitches, plays the corners and behind the plate, and competes hard everywhere on the field. What she did not have was one place to send a college coach.

Like most recruiting families, Addyson’s profile lived on scattered links and rented platforms she did not control. She needed a home base she owns: a fast, modern site where a coach can see her positions and measurables, watch film, check her showcase schedule, and reach her in a couple of taps.

Built to Put a Recruit in Front of College Coaches

  • A single-page recruiting profile a coach can scan in under a minute
  • A prominent contact call to action that routes straight to Addyson and her family
  • Verified positions, class year, height, bats and throws, and stats up top
  • Film organized so a coach sees pitching and hitting without hunting
  • Mobile-first design, because coaches open these links on their phones between games

Every section answers a question a coach is already asking: how does she pitch, can she hit, where does she play, and how do I reach her.

Designed to Look as Serious as the Athlete

  • A custom brand built around Addyson’s number, colors, and real action photography
  • A bold, dark identity that reads as a college program, not a template
  • Full-bleed game photos that lead with Addyson in the circle and at the plate
  • A clean, modern layout that treats a young recruit like the prospect she is

The design tells a coach this is a family that takes the process seriously, before they read a single stat.

Structured So Coaches Can Evaluate in Minutes

  • An About section that frames her game as a pitcher and utility player
  • A film room with pitching and hitting clips, updated through the season
  • An honors section covering her All-State Showcase nominations and team results
  • A live showcase and tournament schedule so coaches know where to see her play
  • Verified measurables, including pitch and exit velocity, that update as they grow

Instead of chasing links across five platforms, a coach gets the full evaluation in one scroll.

Owned by the Player, Built to Last

  • Addyson owns the site and the domain outright, with no yearly recruiting-platform subscription
  • Fast, reliable hosting so the page loads instantly when a coach clicks the link
  • A structure built to update each season as new stats, film, and honors come in
  • A permanent recruiting home that follows her from travel ball through her commitment

This is not a profile she rents. It is an asset she keeps, ready to grow with every season she plays.

“Focused. Coachable. Competing Forward.”
