A founder-led HVAC company needed a site that works at two in the morning
Southern Dreams Mechanical is Trey Hubbard’s HVAC and commercial refrigeration company in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Trey answers his own emergency calls. That is the whole differentiator, and it is also the constraint: the website has to do the selling while he is under somebody’s condenser.
South Louisiana is not an average cooling market. Federal energy data puts the West South Central region at more than double the national cooling demand, so equipment here runs harder and fails sooner. BlakSheep Creative built the site around that reality and around the promise on the homepage. When your AC breaks, we’re there.
Seven services, seven pages, no shared list
A homeowner with a dead compressor and a property manager pricing a rooftop unit are not the same search. Each service got room to answer its own question.
- Emergency HVAC repair, standard HVAC, commercial refrigeration, ductwork and ventilation, backup generators, equipment sales and property management services.
- Every page ends with a call button first and an online booking option second, because in a real emergency nothing beats a phone ringing.
- A services hub that frames the pitch a multi-trade contractor can actually make: one contractor for the whole building.
The commercial refrigeration page most HVAC sites never build
Plenty of companies will service a walk-in cooler. Very few give it a real page, so the restaurants and markets searching for it find nothing local and call a distributor instead.
- A dedicated commercial refrigeration page covering walk-in coolers, freezers and reach-in units.
- Written for the operator whose product is spoiling right now, not for a general audience.
- It is the least contested term in the service area and it sits on its own URL, ready to rank.
Prices on the page, not behind a phone call
The maintenance plan is the recurring product, so it gets the clearest treatment on the site. Three tiers, each with its own page and its own real price.
- Essential at $149 a year, Comfort at $279 and Total Care at $449, printed rather than gated.
- Each tier lists what it is good for and, more usefully, what it is not.
- A financing page carrying the company’s true terms, $500 to $25,000 over 3 to 60 months, with the lender’s required disclosure sitting directly beside the numbers.
Booking that lands on the dispatch board
A contact form that emails the owner is a to-do item. A booking that lands on the schedule is a job. The site does the second one.
- Online booking wired straight into the field service software Trey already runs, so a slot picked at 2am is on his board when he wakes up.
- The booking flow opens over the site rather than sending the visitor to a third-party domain.
- Structured data that names the business, its service area and its bookable action, so search engines and AI assistants can read what the company does and where.
- Separate confirmation pages per form, each written for the action actually taken, so nobody is told a time is held when it is not.
