Accessibility Statement
How we make blaksheepcreative.com accessible: the WCAG 2.2 AA standard we build to, how we test, known limitations, and how to reach us for help.
Last updated: October 2, 2026
BlakSheep Creative wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard, screen magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology. This statement covers blaksheepcreative.com: the standard we build it to, how we check it, where it still falls short, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
Our standard
We build and maintain this site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Conformance status: partially conformant. The pages we build meet the standard as far as our testing shows. Some content from other companies, and some older content carried over from our previous website, does not fully meet it yet. Those exceptions are listed below.
How the site is built
Accessibility is built into the site's code. We do not use an accessibility overlay or plug-in widget, because an overlay cannot fix problems in the code underneath it.
- Structure. Pages use real headings in order, page landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer), lists, buttons, and links, so assistive technology can describe and move through them.
- Keyboard access. Links, buttons, menus, and forms all work from the keyboard. A "Skip to content" link is the first thing on every page, and the mobile menu closes with the Escape key and returns focus to the menu button.
- Visible focus. A clear outline shows which element has keyboard focus.
- Color and contrast. Text and controls are checked against the WCAG AA contrast ratios, and links inside paragraphs are underlined so they do not rely on color alone.
- Images. Images that carry information have text alternatives. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Forms. Every form field has a label.
- Motion. Entrance animations respect the reduced-motion setting on your device, and the scrolling strip of client logos has a control to pause it.
- Zoom and small screens. Layouts adapt to narrow screens and to zoomed-in text without sideways scrolling.
How we test
We test with automated tools (axe-core and Google Lighthouse) and check keyboard use by hand. As of the date above, every page type we test scores 100 on Lighthouse's accessibility audit, on mobile and desktop. Automated tools only catch part of the problems people actually run into, which is why we want to hear from you when something does not work.
Known limitations
- Content from other companies. Some features come from outside services whose accessibility we cannot fully control: the chat window, embedded scheduling and forms (GoHighLevel), YouTube videos, Google Maps, and the free SEO audit tool from SE Ranking. If one of them gets in your way, contact us and we will help you directly by phone or email.
- Older articles and portfolio pages. Much of our blog and portfolio was moved from our previous website. Some older images may have incomplete descriptions, and some older videos may not have captions. We fix these as we find them, and first when someone reports one.
Feedback and help
If anything on this site is hard to use, please tell us. Let us know the page address and what happened, and we will fix it or get you the information another way.

Compatibility
The site is built with standard HTML and ARIA so it works with current versions of the major browsers and with assistive technology. We have not tested every combination of browser and assistive technology. If yours has trouble, the contacts above reach a person.
